ABOUT

This is a short horror game that I have made for my year 12 media folio.

The game is about a monster that cannot see you but has good hearing. This monster escapes from it's captivity inside a secret laboratory. Your goal is to escape the laboratory without being killed by the monster.

CONTROLS

Look - Mouse

Move - W/A/S/D

Interact - Left Click

Toggle Torch - Space

UPDATE (12/10/24)

Bug fixed where player is unable to regain mouse control after resuming from pause menu.
Bug fixed where monster cannot path find to player, preventing the game from progressing.

After downloading this, extract the "ItsListening_Windows.zip" file before running.

To run the game, open the "Windows" folder and click on "ItsListening.exe".

If the game runs poorly on your device you can adjust the graphics settings by editing "<install folder>\ItsListening\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini" and editing the values for settings under [ScalabilityGroups], with a value of 0 being the best performance but worse appearance and 4 being the worse performance but best appearance.
